  • No. If your care is approved under DVA, there are no out-of-pocket costs.

  • We can assist with wound care, medications, recovery after hospital, chronic condition management and personal care where clinically required.

  • Yes. All clients need a written referral from either a

    • general practitioner (GP)

    • treating medical practitioner in hospital

    • hospital discharge planner

    • nurse practitioner specialising in a community nursing field.

  • With your permission, we welcome family members to be involved in your Klova Journey, from the initial assessment and admission to ongoing adjustments to care plans.

  • If your health needs change, please let us know as soon as possible. We will arrange a review with your Registered Nurse to reassess your needs and adjust your care plan accordingly. Where required, we will liaise with your GP and other health professionals to ensure your support remains safe, appropriate, and aligned with DVA guidelines. Our goal is to help you remain well and supported at home.

    In cases of emergency, Klova Care will coordinate the most appropriate intervention which may include calling ‘000’ and notifying the nominated Next of Kin.

  • We aim to provide continuity of care wherever possible.

  • Once a referral is received. We aim to have initial assessments, admission and plans of care completed promptly (within 24-48 hours). By doing so we are able to begin client focused care as agreed to in the care plan.
